Come join us on the second trip of the year to liyam kanimatlala (the center of limuw.) We’ll travel to kaxas (Prisoners Harbor) and then to The Nature Conservancy lands at limuw (Santa Cruz Island,) where they host the Santa Cruz Island Reserve (SCIR) of the University of California at Santa Barbara. There is a lot of research taking place here throughout the year and we’ll learn from researchers while also learning about our language, place, history, plants and more!
